We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrician to join their team at a large mining operation near Burton-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique environment, supporting both surface and underground operations.
What youll be doing:
* Install, maintain & repair electrical systems up to 11kV
* Work on mobile plant, conveyors, crushers, pumps & ventilation systems
* Carry out inspections, testing & preventative maintenance
* Diagnose faults & keep equipment running smoothly
* Support new installations, upgrades & commissioning
What were looking for:
* Recognised electrical trade qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Strong experience with heavy industrial equipment or mobile plant
* HV switching/isolation skills (desirable)
* Background in mining or similar industrial environments preferred
* Safety-first mindset & problem-solving ability
