Senior Project Manager- Utility Infrastructure
London - Hybrid
£75,000 + travel expenses
Fourblue are working with a leading utility infrastructure consultancy delivering end-to-end project management and procurement solutions across electricity, gas, water, and renewable energy projects. With a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to join their team and lead complex, high-value projects to successful delivery.
Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
* Lead planning, execution, and delivery of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards
* Manage multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project resources to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
* Oversee project programmes, risk management, budgets, and documentation including RAMS, permits, and progress reporting
* Facilitate collaboration across internal teams, clients, regulators, and external partners
* Support design, tendering, and project handover activities to ensure readiness for construction
* Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, providing leadership and fostering professional development
* Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, reporting progress, risks, and key decisions
Criteria of the Senior Project Manager:
* 5+ years' experience managing utility infrastructure projects across electricity, gas, water, or renewable energy
* Proven ability to manage multi-million-pound budgets, schedules, and resources
* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related discipline (Master's preferred)
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Office Suite) and methodologies (Agile/Lean)
