The Role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff rotas, ensuring efficient allocation of hours, and adhering to payroll budgets.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all food and beverage areas including the bar, room service, and breakfast service in the manager's absence.
2. Maintain a deep enthusiasm for culinary and beverage excellence.
3. Oversee the procurement and inventory of wines and other beverages.
4. Conduct monthly stock takes.
5. Uphold exemplary personal presentation and professional standards.
6. Set a positive example for the team to follow.
7. Thrive under pressure and embrace challenges.
8. Maintain effective communication within the team.
9. Drive personal and team growth within the organisation.
Requirements:
10. Previous experience working in a similar role.
11. Passion for wines and beverages.
12. Strong communication and leadership skills.
13. 1-2 years of supervising and restaurant management experience would be preferred.
14. Ideally have experience in upscale dining environments, including 3 AA or holding a Michelin Star.
