Job Overview
We are now seeking to recruit Consultant Psychiatrists to join our community mental health services on a full time or part time basis. We are really pleased that you are seeking a career at LPT, you will work in partnership with members of well‑established multi‑disciplinary teams, both operationally and strategically to drive forward innovation delivering the best effective care for our patients.

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)
We want a Consultant Psychiatrist who can
* Deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our patients and carers
* Work in partnership at both strategic and operational levels with relevant and external stakeholders, ensuring that service users, carers and advocates are treated with respect and dignity
* Provide excellent clinical leadership and actively develop the team, offering expert advice to hospital and community specialists, managers and directors on driving excellent care and future strategic directions
* Maintain continuing responsibility for the care of patients and the proper functioning of the department, liaising with general practitioners, hospital and community specialists and other agencies as required

For all substantive roles, new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6‑month probationary period (see Probation Policy). All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.
