We are seeking a Quality Systems & HSE Manager to support operations at our Cheshire, UK facility, while collaborating closely with our Vista, California location and corporate leadership. This role serves as the site owner of the Quality Management System (QMS) and the local lead for Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs. The position is responsible for maintaining and improving compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and international certifications. Working closely with operations, sales, engineering, and corporate leadership, the successful candidate will ensure the site maintains strong quality and safety performance while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.This role requires someone comfortable leading audits, managing compliance systems, partnering with operational teams on the shop floor, and coordinating certification programs. The Day-to-Day Serve as the site owner of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with corporate policies and applicable standards; Maintain and continuously improve certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, HALAL, Kosher, and applicable NSF product certifications; Ensure controlled documentation, procedures, and records remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with company standards; Monitor quality performance indicators and support data-driven improvement initiatives; Plan and lead internal audit programs and coordinate external certification audits; Act as the primary point of contact for certification bodies, auditors, and regulatory authorities; Prepare documentation and coordinate activities required for certification maintenance and surveillance audits; Support compliance with regulatory and industry requirements; Manage the Non-Conformance (NCR) and Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) processes; Facilitate root cause investigations and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented and verified; Track trends and drive improvement initiatives to reduce recurring issues; Ensure the Cheshire facility maintains compliance with all applicable UK health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulatory requirements; Maintain working knowledge of relevant regulations including HSE legislation, COSHH, RIDDOR, PUWER, Working at Height Regulations, environmental permitting requirements, and Environment Agency guidance; Serve as the primary site contact for regulatory authorities and inspections; Coordinate regulatory reporting and ensure required records and documentation are properly maintained; Support compliance with chemical management, waste handling, environmental protection, and workplace safety requirements; Monitor regulatory developments and ensure facility policies and procedures remain aligned with evolving legal requirements; Serve as the site lead for Health, Safety, and Environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards; Promote a strong safety culture across the facility; Conduct site inspections and participate in incident investigations; Support the preparation and review of risk assessments, RAMS/HRA, permits, and other safety documentation; Maintain an active presence within the facility, partnering with production and engineering teams to identify quality and safety improvement opportunities; Support structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives; Collaborate with corporate leadership to ensure alignment between site practices and global systems; Provide guidance and coaching to staff and supervisors regarding quality and compliance requirements; Learning Management Systems (LMS); Preventive maintenance programs; Non-conformance management systems; Digital quality management tools. The Skills We Are Looking for Experience working within ISO-certified environments and leading the QMS and HSE systems; Experience managing internal and external audits, corrective actions, and compliance programs; Experience in leading and managing Quality Management Systems, and HSE; Lead Auditor certification; NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety qualifications; Experience with HALAL certification processes and NSF product certifications; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work effectively with operational teams and senior leadership; Excellent communication and organizational abilities; Proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance or quality management systems; Willingness to travel internationally, including periodic visits to the Vista, California facility on an annual basis; Valid passport and ability to travel to the United States; Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, water treatment, or related technical environments (Asset);
