Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and team leadership within a fast-paced hospitality environment. Duties
* Prepare and cook breakfast dishes with precision, creativity, and adherence to quality standards.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations during breakfast service, including supervising kitchen staff and managing shift workflows.
* Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimiSing waste.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
* Lead food production efforts for catering events or special functions involving breakfast or brunch offerings.
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless food service and guest satisfaction.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on culinary excellence.
* Monitor food handling procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination or spoilage.
* Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall kitchen management to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fast paced brunch venue.
* Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in a culinary setting.
* Background in dietary departments or food production environments preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, inventory management, and food handling procedures.
* Expertise in menu planning, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations management.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse kitchen staff effectively.
* Experience in catering, hospitality services, or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy breakfast hours while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
