How you will make a difference
Within the production department you will be responsible for planning and monitoring the materials and products used by LH Group. You will ensure that the business doesn't run out of the materials required to maintain production. This will be achieved by coordinating, planning, and controlling supplier orders, schedules, and forecasts.
Typical day
* Manage materials and support engineering change, project/program launch and run out with minimal business impact.
* Generate and control supplier performance to achieve key performance indicators.
* Manage component availability issues, escalated, and communicate effectively to ensure closure and eliminate reoccurrence.
* Review forecast material requirements, report supply chain concerns/ability to meet customer orders and implement inventory optimisation strategies.
* Deliver supply chain solutions in project teams, undertake other material planner activities as instructed, and maintain health and safety practices.
What we want to know about you
* Previous experience within a Planning role is desirable.
* Able to work autonomously with strong planning and organisational skills.
* Good problem-solving/negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to present information to all levels.
* IT literate.
