We’re seeking a confident and experienced professional with a strong background in managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement. This is a 3-month temporary contract, working 37 hours per week.
You’ll bring a solid understanding of housing legislation, legal remedies, and effective case management practices to a role that’s critical in protectingmunities and upholding tenancy standards.
Your new role
1. Lead on serious and persistent ASB and tenancy breach cases, particularly those requiring legal enforcement
2. Support Neighbourhood Officers with case advice, evidence gathering, and escalation procedures
3. Prepare and serve legal documents including Notices, and draft witness statements for court proceedings
4. Attend and give evidence in court, ensuring witnesses are fully supported throughout the legal process
5. Liaise with internal teams and external partners to deliver consistent tenancypliance andmunity safety
6. Identify and secure additional sources of evidence to strengthen case oues
7. Make referrals to support agencies and mediation services where appropriate
8. Represent the organisation at multi-agency meetings and contribute to partnership working
9. Engage with localmunities to promote understanding of the organisation’s approach to ASB and tenancy enforcement
What you'll need to succeed
10. Proven experience in managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement cases, within a housing ormunity safety setting
11. Strong working knowledge of relevant housing legislation, legal remedies, and enforcement procedures
12. Confidence in preparing legal documentation, serving notices, and presenting evidence in court
13. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support vulnerable individuals and liaise effectively with partners
14. Ability to assessplex situations, gather and evaluate evidence, and make sound decisions under pressure
