As the IT Applications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy, performance, and evolution of our business applications across the organisation. You will lead the stewardship of our application landscape, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. You will also manage a high‑performing team of developers, analysts, and project managers – supporting their growth whilst delivering exceptional outcomes for the business. Based from our office in Hook, Hampshire, you’ll regularly interact with our Teams in France as well as the US.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the full portfolio of business applications, ensuring consistency, compatibility, and interoperability across systems.
* Lead application implementation, migration, and enhancement projects while managing budgets, resources, and timelines.
* Establish and maintain processes for application support, maintenance, and performance optimisation.
* Act as the primary liaison with business departments to translate functional needs into effective technical solutions.
* Monitor market trends and recommend innovations that contribute to the organisation’s digital transformation.
* Manage and develop technical teams to foster collaboration, skill development, and excellent performance.
* Ensure system security, stability, and compliance with organisational standards and best practices.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
* Extensive experience working with information systems, enterprise applications, and application architectures.
* Proven experience leading application implementation and migration projects.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
* Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross‑functional technical teams.
* Expertise in information systems security and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, IPEC).
* Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken).
