Compliance Manager Location: Office-based with hybrid flexibility We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and manage our day-to-day compliance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to federal, state, and industry regulations while maintaining operational efficiency and supporting both clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Manage and fulfill Adverse Action processes for clients in an accurate and timely manner. Oversee New Client Onboarding, including agreements, vetting, and account creation. Maintain and update compliance-related policies, procedures, and knowledge resources. Supervise the Quality Assurance team, including the development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Coordinate compliance audits, reinvestigations, and consumer dispute resolution. Provide compliance-related training and serve as a resource for staff and clients. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance compliance operations and service delivery. Qualifications Associate’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree or compliance-related certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, quality control, or a related field. Familiarity with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), privacy laws, and accreditation standards. Knowledge of background screening processes preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment This position requires a daily presence in the office, with the option to work remotely for partial days or up to two days per week as approved by management. The home workstation must be private and capable of securely connecting to Wi-Fi. Work performed in the office is typically in an air-conditioned, quiet environment. Reliable personal transportation to and from the office is required.
