About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in the Walsall area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire students while delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be committed to helping students achieve their full potential and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
What you'll be doing:
* Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the school curriculum
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour
* Develop students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and numeracy skills
* Contribute to the school’s wider educational and pastoral initiatives
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support school improvement
* Attend staff meetings, parent evenings, and professional development sessions as required
What were looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Maths
* Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
* Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students
* Flexibility, reliability and commitment to ongoing professional development
