Junior Management Accountant | Creative Consultancy | London
Harmonic are delighted to be working with a growing, independent creative consultancy to find a talented Junior Management Accountant.
They’re an award-winning branding and design business, known for partnering with global consumer brands and delivering impactful creative strategy. With a headcount of ~120 employees across international offices and annual revenues of c.£20m, the business combines entrepreneurial energy with a well-established market presence.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key role in the financial operations of the business.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of the month-end process and support the delivery of accurate and insightful management accounts, while overseeing transactional finance.
You’ll be a key part of a high-performing team, helping to drive process improvements and ensuring financial controls are robust as the business continues to scale.
Responsibilities
* Preparation assistance of monthly management accounts to Trial Balance
* Full ownership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
* Posting accruals, prepayments, and journals
* Cash flow forecasting and ongoing cash management
* Supporting budget holders with variance analysis and insights
* Revenue recognition, including accrued and deferred income
* VAT returns and regulatory submissions
* Credit control and working capital management
* Driving process improvements across finance systems and workflows
About You
* Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or actively studying
* Experience in a creative, media, or project-based environment is advantageous
* Strong grounding in double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles
* Confident managing both AP & AR processes
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to partner non-finance stakeholders
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 + study support
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Shoreditch, Central London (3 days WFH)
