Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Pay Range/details: £47,000 per annum basic + overtime

Omega are supporting leading global printing technology company in their search for a Field Service Engineer to cover the Midlands. The right Field Service Engineer will have previous experience of working on commercial equipment within a production environment alone and as part of a team is required.
Key Responsibilities – Field Service Engineer
Diagnose and repair a range of advanced printing equipment, working on both electrical and mechanical issues to keep your technical skills sharp.
Plan and prepare parts and resources to complete jobs efficiently, taking ownership of each task from start to finish.
Deliver excellent customer service, communicating clearly with clients and colleagues while providing guidance and support.
Collaborate and share expertise with colleagues, helping across teams and contributing to a supportive, dynamic work environment.
Enjoy variety and flexibility in your work, including remote support, hands-on problem solving, and opportunities to develop new skills.
Work safely and responsibly, adhering to company policies and health and safety regulations while embracing new challenges as they arise.
Qualifications & Requirements – Field Service Engineer
Recognised engineering qualification (e.g., BTEC, City & Guilds, HNC) with strong electrical, mechanical, and computer-based skills.
Experience working on commercial or industrial equipment in a production environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex machinery.
Strong customer service skills, with clear verbal and written communication and the ability to manage customer expectations effectively.
Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional overnight stays and travel throughout the UK.
