This role is ideal for candidates with a background in furniture, timber products, woodworking machinery, or manufacturing maintenance who are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity.
The Role Youll be responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently through planned maintenance, fault finding, and repairs, helping to minimise downtime across site.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Diagnose faults and repair manufacturing machinery
Develop and improve maintenance schedules
Maintain maintenance records and spare parts stock
Support continuous improvement projects
Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently
Promote and follow Health & Safety procedures at all times
Machinery Experience (Desirable) Saws
Edge banders
CNC machinery
Timber processing equipment
What Were Looking For Previous maintenance experience within timber, furniture, or manufacturing
Strong mechanical xsngvjr skills with basic electrical knowledge
Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
Proactive and reliable approach to maintenance work
Hours Monday to Thursday: 8am 4pm
Friday: 8am 3pm
