MCS Group are recruiting an exciting, new role for a leading Manufacturing company with their HQ in Lisburn. The role is for a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to work with the Group HSE Manager to oversee Safety in their Lisburn plant.

~ Ensure the site consistently meets all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental legislation, keeping the business informed and compliant with any regulatory updates or changes.
Create, implement, and maintain robust HSE policies and procedures that reflect best practice and support operational excellence.
Conduct thorough risk assessments, review them regularly, and ensure findings are communicated and understood by employees-with appropriate training delivered where needed.
Carry out frequent site inspections, audits, and walkarounds-identifying hazards, addressing unsafe behaviours, and ensuring housekeeping and equipment standards remain high.
Plan and manage all legally required inspections, including LOLER, PUWER, air quality sampling, and noise assessments.
Ensure all contractors are pre-approved, fully inducted, and consistently adhere to site safety requirements.
Identify and recommend practical improvements to site layout, workflows, and HSE practices-while confidently challenging unsafe behaviours when they arise.
