We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a couple of years of experience to join our practice in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will become part of a friendly, well‑established team that includes four veterinarians, six nurses, five client‑care advisors, and a practice manager. The working environment is designed to balance clinical excellence with staff wellbeing. Structured appointment times allow thorough patient care; routine consultations are typically 15 minutes, with longer appointments allocated when needed, and the working day is arranged so that consultations finish ahead of closing time. The position is based on a 40‑hour week and includes participation in a one‑in‑four weekend rota.
The practice is modern, bright, and well‑equipped, with digital X‑ray, ultrasound, blood‑pressure monitoring, and an in‑house laboratory, enabling a high standard of diagnostic and clinical work.
