Main Purpose of Role We are looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Digital Content Strategy Manager with a strong grasp of digital platforms, content planning, and performance marketing to lead our digital content efforts across the Dimplex and Xpelair brands. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this important role will be responsible for developing and executing a joined-up content strategy across web, social media and CRM, ensuring consistency, relevance, and alignment with brand and business objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our digital presence, improving website UX, and facilitating driving engagement through targeted, data-driven campaigns. As Digital Content Strategy Manager, you will oversee content planning and optimisation, manage external agencies, and collaborate closely with Trade and Specification channel marketing managers, product managers, customer experience and technical teams to ensure content supports channel-specific goals. You will lead the strategic direction of our social media presence, including the planning and coordination of content that delivers timely, brand-aligned messaging across platforms. You will also oversee the CRM campaign calendar, working in close collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver personalised, performance-driven communications that support customer engagement and retention. Key Accountabilities Lead the development and execution of a holistic digital content strategy across web, social media, and CRM, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand and business objectives. Collaborate closely with channel marketing managers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure content supports overall brand, as well as channel-specific goals. Oversee website content planning, optimisation, and user journey mapping to drive engagement and conversion. Ensure all content is optimised for AI-enhanced search engines and digital assistants, considering semantic relevance, structured data, and conversational search trends. Coordinate and manage the social media content calendar, in collaboration with channel marketing managers, ensuring timely, relevant, and brand-aligned messaging across platforms. Coordinate and manage the CRM campaign calendar, working with internal stakeholders to deliver targeted, data-driven communications. Work with external agencies to execute and evaluate digital campaigns and content, ensuring high-quality output and strategic alignment. Ensure SEO best practices are embedded across all digital content and web assets, with a forward-looking approach to AI-led search evolution. Oversee PPC activity (including Google Ads and paid social), ensuring campaigns are aligned with content strategy and performance objectives. Monitor and analyse performance metrics across digital channels, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Integrate digital content planning with broader marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives. Essential Criteria Skills, Knowledge and Experience Proven experience in developing and executing digital content strategies across web, social media, and CRM platforms. Experience in content marketing and planning for technical products and solutions, product launches, and customer engagement campaigns. Previous experience within electrical, HVAC, construction, housing, or building services industries. Experience in collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, technical and customer experience teams. Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and performance marketing, with demonstrable success in driving engagement and conversion. Excellent project management and communication skills. Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align content with business and brand objectives. Ability to translate technical product features into customer-centric messaging. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for brand tone and consistency. Proficiency in digital tools such as CMS platforms, CRM systems, analytics dashboards. Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment. Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships. Interpersonal and influencing skills are critical. Strong experience in managing external agencies and partners to deliver campaign objectives. Desirable Criteria A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A passion for sustainability and knowledge of decarbonisation and energy efficiency trends and regulations in the UK. Familiarity with AI-driven search trends, including conversational search, structured data, and semantic optimisation. Travel You may occasionally be required to travel across the UK to visit customers and attend events.
