Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering bespoke 1:1 teaching sessions across a range of subjects, adapting to individual student needs and learning styles.
* Developing and implementing personalised learning plans (PLPs) and tracking student progress.
* Building strong, positive, and trusting relationships with students to support their academic and personal development.
* Managing challenging behaviours with a trauma-informed and restorative approach.
* Collaborating with the AP team, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic student support.
* Contributing to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
We are looking for a 1:1 Teacher who:
* Has a genuine passion for working with vulnerable young people.
* Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods.
* Is patient, resilient, and creative in overcoming learning barriers.
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) OR possesses substantial experience in 1:1 tutoring, youth work, or support roles within education, particularly with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or SEND.
