A M&E works Site Supervisor oversees daily operations of a project, ensuring work follows plans, meets quality standards, and complies with safety regulations, while also managing labour, materials, and equipment to stay on schedule and within budget. Key responsibilities include supervising internal workers and subcontractors, interpreting drawings and specifications, coordinating logistics, monitoring progress, maintaining site safety, resolving issues, and communicating with stakeholders.

Formal H&S ISOH or higher
Site Supervision Safety Training or equivalent
Electrical or Mechanical C&G
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight:
Supervise all aspects of a M&E project from start to finish.
Monitor progress to ensure it aligns with project plans, Drawings, specifications and building standards.
Inspect ongoing work to check for quality and adherence to standards.
Safety Management:
Enforce all safety rules and regulations on the site.
Educate workers and subcontractors on safety practices and accident protocols.
Conduct regular site inspections and took bix talks to identify and eliminate potential hazards.
Team and Logistics Coordination:
Organize and manage work schedules for staff and subcontractors.
Coordinate the delivery and management of necessary materials and equipment.
Lead and mentor construction crews, providing training and performance feedback.
Communication and Reporting:
Serve as a point of contact between project managers, Engineer designers, clients, and suppliers.
Maintain detailed site documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress reports.
Communicate with workers to explain tasks and resolve issues that arise.
Problem-Solving:
Address conflicts and resolve issues that occur on the construction site.
Make recommendations for improvements to increase operational efficiency.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a construction supervisor or in a similar role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and construction processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction schematics.
Flexibility to work in various construction environments and shifts.
