Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Wine Sales Representative to develop and maintain relationships with restaurants, bars, retailers, and other hospitality accounts. The successful candidate will promote our wine portfolio, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and secure new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Present and promote wines to restaurants, hotels, bars, liquor stores, and other accounts.
- Conduct wine tastings, product demonstrations, and educational events.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Manage customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with marketing and management teams to execute promotional campaigns.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in wine, beverage, alcohol, hospitality, or outside sales preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of wine regions, varietals, production methods, and food pairings is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- WSET certification, sommelier training, or equivalent wine education is a plus.
