NHS Lothian & Borders Staff Bank - Pharmacy Support Workers Band 2
Join to apply for the NHS Lothian & Borders Staff Bank - Pharmacy Support Workers Band 2 role at NHS Scotland
NHS Lothian covers Edinburgh City, East Lothian, Midlothian, and West Lothian. We are the second largest health system in NHS Scotland and one of only four Teaching Boards. We have strategic partnerships with Local Universities, Local Authorities and our four Integration Joint Boards. We serve a population of 900,000, providing a range of Primary, Community Based and Acute Hospital Services. We also provide regional and national services across a range of clinical specialties.
The vision for the Pharmacy & Medicines Service is to deliver clinically led, person-centred services to ensure patients across Lothian get the best from their medicines and pharmacy services. We are focussed on creating an environment where each person in the team has the opportunity to flourish, develop and make best use of their skills.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic candidates who are able to work on an ad-hoc, flexible basis to join our pharmacy team. You’ll work with our teams in a number of settings such as acute, mental health, community hospitals or primary care based within GP practices.
Work is offered on an "as and when required basis" with different shift patterns available to suit flexible working. There are no guarantees of a fixed number of hours each week as this is a demand led service.
The staff bank centrally co-ordinates bank shifts for services across NHS Lothian through an electronic online booking system allowing bank workers to view and book their shifts through a computer or mobile device.
Band 2 - £25,694 - £27,900 pro rata
