What you will be doing
As a qualified Nurse, you will ensure people with mental health conditions receive high-quality care, support your colleagues, and promote positive teamwork.
The wards are busy, engaging, and varied. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users
* Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
* Mentoring and supporting team members
* Observing, recording, and reporting all service user changes, maintaining accurate records

* NMC registration

Where you will be working:
Location: Bennett’s Lane, Widnes, Warrington, WA8 0GT
You will work at the Gateway Recovery Centre, a state-of-the-art facility providing care for men and women with complex mental health needs.
The hospital has four distinct areas:
* Male Autism Service for adults with Autism and Asperger’s syndrome
* Assessment and rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs and personality difficulties
* Specialist inpatient service for older men with complex mental and physical health needs
* Low secure care for men with mental illness, with or without personality disorder/mild LD
You will work with the team to improve mental health and wellbeing, helping service users develop healthy relationships and reduce risk behaviors, enabling them to live fulfilling lives within the community.
