We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties
* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients as directed by the head chef or cook.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
* Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients for various dishes.
* Help with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen equipment and utensils.
* Ensure that all food items are stored correctly and labelled appropriately.
* Assist in catering events as required, contributing to a seamless dining experience for guests.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary arts is key. Full training will be provided.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is preferred.
* Experience in meal preparation or working within a restaurant or catering setting will be beneficial.
* A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to food preparation and cooking.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
