If so, an opportunity has arisen to join the Cancer division as an interim Matron and SACT Lead Nurse. We wish to further strengthen our Cancer Division team to provide excellent care to the population of North Wales and the service provided in the Cancer Division across North Wales. Working with excellent colleagues within the Cancer Division, this is a great opportunity to work in a progressive division. You will join our dynamic Senior Nursing team to deliver the best care to patients across the cancer division as well as lead on the implementation of the SACT improvement plan though innovative and creative leadership. Main duties of the job The post holder will be an experienced Senior Nurse with significant management experience. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of delivering values based leadership. You will need to demonstrate passion and commitment for leading on the delivery of high quality patient care as leading on the SACT improvement plan through innovative and creative leadership. You will be enthusiastic and motivated to deliver the best to the population of North Wales. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Nurse Leader with a passion for Cancer care and a drive to continue the improvement work within SACT delivery. You will require the ability to inspire and lead innovation and improvement in nursing practice. The post holder will act as the professional nurse lead providing clinical advice, leadership development, monitoring and management of all nursing resources for cancer services within the designated clinical area, to facilitate excellent nursing practice ensuring the delivery of a high quality, patient centred service. The post holder will be a clinical nurse leader, working with the Management Team to identify opportunities for service change and improvement to encourage and enable advancement and development of associated evidence based services. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
