At Siemens Gamesa (SGRE), we are looking for a motivated intern to join our team, where you will have the chance to apply your academic knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute to impactful projects. Hull’s Lean department is dedicated to advancing process improvement initiatives, driving the site’s digital manufacturing agenda, analysing data for trends and KPIs, and engaging production teams to identify and implement cost and waste reduction strategies. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Participate in a range of continuous improvement projects, such as root cause analysis, value stream mapping, data analysis, Kaizen events, and project management.
2. Work closely with the Digitalisation and Data team to transform data into actionable insights and digital solutions.
3. Analyse on-site processes and data to spot improvement opportunities.
4. Create and maintain KPI dashboards using PowerBI and MS Excel to support data-driven decision-making and gain exposure to project and programme management by adhering to best practices.
5. Support standardisation, good document management practices, and assist in organising and facilitating meetings, workshops, and events.
What You Bring
6. You should be working towards a degree in engineering/manufacturing/business.
7. Have a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
8. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (in particular, MS Excel).
9. Individuals should demonstrate a structured, logical approach to problems solving.

10. Annual salary of circa £26,000
