Air Freight Specialist
Location: Bradford
Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well‑established and reputable freight forwarding business for an experienced Air Freight Specialist to join their Bradford‑based operations team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled air freight professional to take ownership of shipments end‑to‑end within a supportive and well‑structured environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing air freight import and/or export shipments from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high levels of customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
* Handling air freight shipments (import/export) end‑to‑end
* Providing quotations to clients
* Arranging collections and deliveries with agents and carriers
* Preparing and processing all relevant shipping documentation
* Managing import/export customs clearance procedures
* Costing shipments and raising invoices
* Maintaining accurate operational records
Requirements
* Minimum 6+ years’ experience with a UK‑based freight forwarder
* Strong knowledge of air freight import and/or export operations
* Experience with customs procedures
* Familiarity with CargoWise is highly desirable
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple shipments independently
