The role Newcastle International Airport (NIAL) is looking for an experienced Fire Safety Compliance Advisor to ensure fire safety regulations and standards are met across the Airport. This is a key role in protecting passengers, colleagues, and stakeholders by leading fire prevention efforts, emergency planning, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Ensure fire safety compliance across the Airport and its infrastructure collaborating with Engineering and contractors to oversee fire system maintenance and repairs and working with local and Airport Fire Services to strengthen fire safety measures. Maintain and update the Fire Safety Manual and Airport Fire Strategy, Conducting fire risk assessments and Advising on fire risks and audits, ensuring timely resolution of actions. Play an active role in the Emergency Planning Committee to support emergency planning, business continuity, and resilience strategies. Qualifications & Experience To be successful in this role, you should have: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar Fire Safety Compliance role. Diploma in Fire Safety (or working towards).
