About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

You will play a key role in delivering tailored, high-quality teaching that supports every child’s individual learning journey and helps them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
* Develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
* Monitor, assess and report on student progress
* Manage behaviour positively using appropriate strategies
* Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community

About You

We are looking for someone who:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
* Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable)
* Demonstrates strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
* Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
