Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust is a leading NHS organisation providing high‑quality healthcare across two hospitals in Cambridge. This role is part of the highly specialised MODEL (Metabolics, Obesity, Diabetes, Endocrine, Lipids) dietetic team, delivering focused dietetic services to the Specialist Weight Management Service (formerly Tier 3).
The ideal candidate is a compassionate, experienced dietitian with a deep understanding of weight‑management complexities and a proven ability to support patients with obesity both before and after surgery. The role is embedded within a multi‑professional framework and contributes through evidence‑based clinical practice, management, education, research and audit.
Responsibilities
* Lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of specialist obesity services.
* Work independently, offering one‑to‑one clinics, group sessions and expert support within the multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of patient management in this specialist area and drive the use of evidence‑based principles in a patient‑centred manner.
* Promote and coordinate services that can be delivered virtually and face‑to‑face.
