Receptionist – Sharmans Cross Junior School Band B (£24,027–£24,790 pro-rata) Term Time Only – 39 weeks per year | 36.25 hours per week (8:15am – 4:00pm) At Sharmans Cross Junior School, we are proud of our warm, welcoming environment andour commitment to the wellbeing and success of every child. We are currently seeking a friendly, professional and experienced receptionist to join our busy, supportive office team. About the Role As the first point of contact for our school, you will play a vital role in representing the school to parents, visitors and the wider community. This is a varied and rewarding role, requiring excellent communication and ICT skills, a flexible and proactive attitude, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. We are looking for someone who:  Has previous experience in a busy reception or administrative environment  Demonstrates strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and school management systems (SIMS experience is desirable)  Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills Works well both independently and as part of a team  Approaches tasks with a positive attitude  Is able to prioritise and organise own work  Is organised, efficient and able to multi-task effectively In return, we offer:  A vibrant and friendly working environment Supportive colleagues and leadership team  A fulfilling role at the heart of a caring and inclusive school community  Opportunities for professional development Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
