We are looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to help us define, develop and implement automated functional and non-functional testing. This is a practical hands‑on role within the ITS Applications Development - Production Readiness Team. You will work closely with our DevOps team to implement the automation objectives, and with other Atradius functions both within ITS, our Business and with External Service Providers (ESP) to achieve our aims. A fundamental quality is the ability to learn and adapt new technologies and techniques.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, run and maintain automated tests, both functional and non-functional, including integration of test automation deliverables from External Service Providers.
* Design and build dashboards and automated alert processes based on test results and analysis of system performance.
* Integrate automation testing, reporting and alerting into our evolving DevOps pipelines.
* Work with External Service Providers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
* Use incident/change management tools to record call tickets, incidents and support changes.
* Co‑operate with co‑workers to ensure cross‑application consistency.
* Adhere to Atradius development standards throughout the product lifecycle.
* Take responsibility for own personal development.
* Keep pace with latest testing and automation trends, practices, tools, techniques, tips and tricks to optimise test automation strategy and methodologies.
* Be willing and able to travel internationally if required.
Qualifications
* Experience in Software Test Automation with relevant tooling (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber).
* Experience with software testing methodology and practice, ideally with ISEB / ISTQB certification.
* Experience with performance testing including tools such as JMeter, K6, OpenText LoadRunner.
* Experience with static and dynamic security testing.
* Programming skills such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Perl, .NET, Ruby.
* Knowledge of SQL.
* Understanding of DevOps and experience of working with Agile and/or CI (Continuous Integration) environments.
* Experience with Azure and/or Jira and Confluence tools.
* Experience with relational databases, ideally Oracle.

* Analysis skills and a logical approach to problem solving and an ability to validate testing against business requirements.
* Experience working internally and with third‑party providers.
* Financial services background preferably with a knowledge of credit insurance principles and other lines of business.
* Ability to assimilate information and gain understanding of in‑house systems.
