We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EPR Configuration Analyst to join a large-scale NHS Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the most ambitious digital transformations in healthcare, improving the way we deliver safe, effective, and joined-up patient care.

As an EPR Configuration Analyst, you will play a vital role in the design, configuration, testing, and optimisation of the new EPR system. Youll work closely with clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure that system configuration meets clinical workflows and supports best practice patient care.

Key Responsibilities

* Configure and maintain key components of the EPR solution in line with agreed build standards and governance.
* Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate requirements into effective system design and configuration.
* Support testing, validation, and documentation of system builds.
* Ensure configuration changes are accurately recorded and managed through version control and change management processes.
* Participate in design workshops, build reviews, and go-live readiness activities.
* Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues, escalating where necessary.
* Contribute to data migration, interface mapping, and workflow optimisation tasks.
* Provide support and training to end users and colleagues within the EPR programme team.

About You

Youll bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to system configuration. You are a collaborative team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment, and passionate about improving digital healthcare delivery.

Essential skills and experience:

* Experience configuring or supporting an EPR or clinical information system (e.g. Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, System C, Meditech, Oracle Health).
* Understanding of NHS clinical and operational workflows.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
* Familiarity with configuration documentation, change control, and testing processes.

Desirable:

* Previous experience within a large-scale NHS digital transformation or EPR deployment.
* Knowledge of data governance, interoperability, or clinical safety standards.
* Relevant IT or healthcare informatics qualifications.
