Job Summary
The assistant psychologist will be a member of the Physical Health Psychology team.
They will work patients who live with a range of long-term health conditions in North and West Cumbria.
The Assistant Will Support The Team In Terms Of:
Supporting the clinical psychologist with their clinical activities
Developing the use of online technologies
Developing patient materials
Supporting the running of patient groups
Helping to develop audit protocols for the service
Developing training materials
Gathering, analyse and present outcome data from clinical work
Supporting the development of psychology services
There will be opportunities to gain some experience in other areas of health psychology alongside this work.
To assist in clinical related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. Participation in NHS initiatives and training to support continued professional development as required.
