Pay: £18 per hour (umbrella) (£14 PAYE an hour)

Specialist Teaching and Educational Psychology Service (STEPS)
Are you an experienced and organised administrator looking to make a real difference in children's lives? Gloucestershire County Council is seeking an Administrator to join our Specialist Teaching and Educational Psychology Service (STEPS) for a 3-month temporary assignment.
This role is not remote and requires you to work in person at one of the offices located across the county in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, or Cinderford.
About the Role You will be part of a vital team helping to improve outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Gloucestershire. This role supports our mission to provide the right help at the right time and in the right place.
As an Administrator, you will:
Work across various sites in the county
Support the service with a range of administrative functions
Communicate effectively with schools, settings, and parent carers
Deliver flexible and customer-focused administrative supportYou will work under the direction of the Business Administration Lead and will play a key part in helping us achieve our service goals.
About You We are looking for someone with:
Excellent customer service skills
Strong teamworking, communication, and organisational abilities
Experience working across organisations
Solid ICT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office toolsDesirable (but not essential) experience includes:
Working in education or local government
Using systems such as Capita or Liquid Logic
