In business for more than 30 years, we have recently enjoyed rapid growth in sales of more complex solutions such as packaged air handling units and natural ventilation systems. To help us support this growth, we wish to recruit an enthusiastic and capable HVAC Service & Commissioning Engineer. JOB OUTLINE Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the focus of the role will be to provide on-site technical support for the HVAC products we supply. This will mainly involve working on construction sites to commission and service ventilation units and associated controls, but will also involve ancillary tasks such as equipment surveys, fault finding, etc. Product specific training will be provided, but the ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of HVAC controls and possess relevant electrical qualifications along with experience in a relevant field. A qualification in in electrical or electronic engineering would be advantageous. The position will be primarily field based, working out of our Moira office. Daily travel, primarily to sites within Northern Ireland, will be required. Travel to sites in ROI will also be necessary, although on a less frequent basis, and occasionally this will require overnight stays away from home. Infrequent trips (typically fewer than 6 per year) to mainland GB may be required for both training and servicing activities. A company van and all necessary tools & equipment will be provided. About The Role KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Pre & post-sales technical support for 3rd party installers to help ensure right first time installation.
