Salary: £30,427 - £42,136 pa, pro rata. Grade 3B – 4B. Part time, Permanent FTE 0.92 (34 hours per week).

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our busy and professional Hair and Beauty team. If you’re a qualified teacher with industrial experience in beauty this role could be for you. You’ll have a recognised teaching qualification and teaching experience, ideally within a further education setting, and either have or be willing to work towards an assessor’s qualification. If you’re an enthusiastic, positive and skilled beauty lecturer, we look forward to hearing from you.
Responsibilities
To contribute to the delivery and development of the Beauty Therapy curriculum as part of the Hair and Beauty team. To inspire learners and support their progression to achieve high standards. To work within the college’s safeguarding, equality and diversity policies and its safe recruitment procedures where applicable. To participate in programme management and quality improvement activities as required by the college.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Qualified teacher with teaching experience, ideally in a further education setting.
* Industrial experience in Beauty Therapy.
* Either hold or be willing to work towards an assessor’s qualification.
* Recognised teaching qualification.
