Client Care Advisor - West Thurrock
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, client‑focused professional to join our team at Thurrock Vets for Pets. Your main focus will be to provide exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets, acting as the link between the clients and the clinical team. You will greet each client, offer support and guidance, manage payments and bookings confidently, and coordinate the smooth running of day‑to‑day practice activities using our online booking system.
Responsibilities
* Be the friendly and welcoming face for the client and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
* Provide guidance by staying fully up‑to‑speed with practice services and any additional services available.
* Remain calm, attentive and focused on the clients’ needs.
* Bring enthusiasm and drive to the role, demonstrating a passion for service matched with a love of pets.
* Deal calmly with a range of client situations, from comforting them during bad news to sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first visit.
* Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in partnership with fellow colleagues.
* Support reception tasks: manage payments, future bookings and handle any inquiries.
* Work 40 hours a week including one weekend every four on a rota basis.
We are looking for someone who would like to build their career in customer care within the veterinary industry and who has a strong background or previous experience in customer care.
