We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing team. In this role, you will work closely with a pupil who has Special Educational Needs, providing tailored 1–1 support to help them access the curriculum, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Assist with individual learning plans, behaviour plans, and EHCP targets.
Support pupils during classroom activities, transitions, and break times.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure consistent, effective support.
Promote independence, positive behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviews.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working in care, support work, or a similar people-focused role.
Is patient, empathetic, and confident working with children with additional needs.
Has good communication skills and can build trusting relationships.
Is adaptable, calm under pressure, and able to use initiative.
Is willing to learn and develop through training and guidance.
