Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) to lead our digital, data and technology agenda and drive transformation that improves patient care, safety and experience.
About the role
This is a senior executive role, reporting to the Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer, with responsibility for delivering a coherent, ambitious and future-focused digital strategy across the Trust.
You will lead large-scale transformation programmes, embed digital innovation and ensure technology supports both clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Setting and delivering the Trust’s digital vision and strategy
* Leading major transformation programmes including EHR, data, AI, telemedicine and cloud
* Providing expert advice to the CEO and Board on digital opportunities and risks
* Leading the Digital, Data, Technology and Informatics (DDaT) function
* Ensuring robust governance, assurance and programme delivery
* Driving cyber security, resilience and information governance compliance
* Managing significant budgets and ensuring value for money
* Building strong system partnerships across IC and external organisations
* Embedding digital culture, workforce capability and adoption
* Championing user-centred design, ensuring services are shaped by patients and clinicians

* Strong understanding of NHS policy, systems and digital priorities
