About This Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available to join our Group Payments team. You'll play a key role in driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions that supports our strategy.

As the Performance and Insights Lead, you will drive data-led insights and scalable reporting solutions to support decision-making and business strategy. The role balances leadership responsibilities with a hands-on approach to deliver these solutions utilising modern BI and automation tools. As a Senior Manager you'll role model strong delivery; influence key senior partners and contribute to broader strategic direction and business decision making by providing actionable insights and thought leadership.

What You'll Do

* Lead and manage the Performance and Insights team, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to drive high standards of performance and professional development
* Define and deliver the roadmap for BI and reporting requirements, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across multiple teams
* Lead and deliver complex analytics, reporting, and visualisation to enable informed and timely decision-making.
* Collaborate with the wider team to define financial and non-financial performance metrics, supporting regular monitoring through analytics and providing actionable insights.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners across multiple teams, including presenting at senior-level meetings.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, and lead initiatives that enable better business decision-making.
* Actively support and empower junior colleagues to create a successful, engaged, and high-performing team.

What You'll Need

* Proven leadership experience managing reporting and analytics teams in a regulated or complex environment, with a track record of building high-performing teams
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence and collaborate effectively across teams, departments, and senior leadership levels
* Strong commercial and analytical mindset, highly numerical and data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.
* Knowledge of performance drivers and understanding of financial and non-financial metrics.
* Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability, comfortable managing ambiguity and navigating organisational complexity.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, planning and organising work systematically to achieve team and functional objectives.
* Strong background of delivery and driving continuous improvement with a focus on automation solutions and driving innovation
* Advanced data and analytics expertise, including proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and visualisation platforms like Power BI or Tableau; experience with data modelling and forecasting is highly desirable.
* Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. PowerApps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio) is desirable.

About Working For Us
Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.

We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture.

We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative.

And it's why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups.

We're disability confident. So, if you'd like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

* A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
* An annual bonus award, subject to Group performance
* Share schemes including free shares
* Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
* 30 days' holiday, with bank holidays on top
* A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
