Please note the successful candidate for this position must undergo an enhanced DBS check with barred list.
Additionally, there is a requirement for an additional criminal records check (or checks if more than one country) for anyone who has lived or worked abroad
Provide the children with a safe, secure and home like environment
Have a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
Operate a key person system and liaise with parents, carers, and senior staff
Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of this age group and each individual child’s needs and interests
Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team.
Contribute to good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the nursery
Ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted
Respect the confidentiality of all information received and comply with the nursery’s equal opportunities policy
Attend occasional out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, parents evening, etc must have level 2 or 3 in child care.
