Are you a college student looking for a hands-on, high-energy opportunity to inspire the next generation? iXplore is seeking enthusiastic interns to help run our pop-up Virtual Reality Roadshow. This traveling experience introduces middle and high school students to real careers in orthopedic manufacturing and MedTech innovation.
Using our fleet of Quest 3 VR headsets, you’ll assist as students try immersive job shadow experiences where they polish implants, operate CNC machines, and even explore the entrepreneurial side of medical technology. These interactive sessions take place at schools, career fairs, and community events – all designed to spark curiosity, break down misconceptions, and help students see their place in this vital industry.

We seek students who are:
* Tech and education enthusiasts: Excited to learn about VR and inspire others.
* Engaging communicators: Enjoy interacting and clearly explaining.
* Reliable and adaptable: Committed to events and able to adjust to dynamic settings.

* Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus: Valuable for broader reach.
What You’ll Do:
As an iXplore Roadshow Assistant, you will:
* Set up and pack up VR headsets and kiosks, making sure all equipment is clean, sanitized, and ready for use.
* Guide students as they explore our orthopedic VR career experience at events.
* Inspire curiosity by answering questions and explaining how students can learn more or take next steps toward these careers.
* Gather feedback from participants to help iXplore improve and expand the experience.
* Manage event flow so every attendee has a great experience and a chance to participate.
Scheduling and Hours:
Roadshow events typically take place during school hours, with occasional evening or weekend events. Scheduling is flexible based on your availability, and a typical shift is 6–8 hours, including setup and wrap-up time.
