Role: Clinical CQC Registered Manager – RNLD / RMN / RGN
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus Scheme
Location: Colchester, Essex – office-based with local travel to community services
Hours: Full Time, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm

Overview:
Compass Associates are proud to partner with a growing provider of Complex Care services to recruit for a Clinical Registered Manager. This key leadership position is based in Colchester, Essex, overseeing high-acuity services for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and complex behavioural support needs in their own homes.
The services are designed for individuals with significant support needs, often requiring intensive staffing. You will be responsible for delivering safe, person-centred care, leading local governance, team development, and service growth.
This is a hands-on, leadership role suited for someone who thrives in frontline management and seeks clear progression opportunities.
Location:
This role is fully office-based in Colchester, with travel across Essex. Accessible from Chelmsford, Ipswich, Braintree, Southend, Basildon, Romford, Cambridge, and nearby areas.
Criteria:
* Registered Nurse (RNLD, RMN, RGN) with valid NMC PIN
* Experience as a Registered Manager in CQC-regulated care services
* Knowledge of Mental Health, Autism, PBS approaches, and high-risk behaviours
Responsibilities:
* Lead safe, compliant, high-quality care delivery
* Collaborate with commissioners, internal teams, and leadership to improve services
* Manage staff supervision, training, and development
* Support service expansion and onboarding of new packages with the Business Development Director
Salary & Benefits:
* £60,000 – £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* Enhanced annual leave: 28 days + 8 bank holidays (total 34)
* Career progression pathway toward Regional or Divisional Director
Interview Process:
* Introductory call with SLT
* In-person visit to meet the team and view services
* Final panel interview focusing on clinical and operational leadership
