A super luxury high end design practice in West London is looking for a Mid or Senior Level FF&E Designer for a project starting in the New Year. This is a FTC role for at least 7 months but can start asap. The project is for a hospitality role so experience in this sector is essential. You will need to have experience in this area and take the lead on the project with the team.
You will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of high-end materials, bespoke furniture, and refined detailing. You will lead FF&E concept development, manage client relationships, and oversee procurement for the project.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of FF&E concepts, mood boards, finishes palettes, and material scheme
* Source and curate exceptional furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, artwork, and accessories.
* Ensure all specifications are aligned with project concepts, budgets, and brand standards.
* Prepare comprehensive FF&E schedules, specification books, and tender documentation.
* Oversee the creation of detailed drawings, elevations, and joinery/FF&E packages in collaboration with the design team.
* Review shop drawings, prototypes, and samples from suppliers to ensure quality and design accuracy.
Project & Procurement Management
* Manage FF&E procurement from sourcing through to logistics, delivery, quality control, and installation.
* Track budgets, lead times, and purchasing timelines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
* Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and fabricators to ensure seamless integration of FF&E within wider project plans.
Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 5+ experience in FF&E within luxury residential or hospitality design.
* Strong portfolio showcasing high-end, detail-driven FF&E work.
* Expertise in bespoke furniture design, luxury materials and finishes.
* Advanced proficiency in, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with EstiPC, Studio Designer, or similar procurement software is a plus.
* Exceptional knowledge of industry suppliers, international design brands, and specialist craftspeople.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to lead FF&E delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
