Presentations Specialist

Salary: £27,400 per annum, plus 10% shift allowance(total £30,140)

Location: Leeds, LS10 1AB

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 10am until 7pm with 1 hours unpaid break

Work model: Hybrid

Williams Lea seeks a Presentations Specialist to join our team!

Purpose of role

The role requires the individual to work as part of a team liaising closely with clients to produce presentations materials. To liaise in a professional, consultative and helpful manner at all times. To own and take responsibility for the work, in terms of the final product, e.g. consistency, deadline management, accuracy and quality in accordance with the Bank template and corporate guidelines. Take responsibility for the management of the document, within time and quality parameters, handling customer queries relating to these documents. To liaise directly with the Workflow Coordinator on a regular basis to give updates on workflow, deadlines and issues so that the client’s requirements can be effectively managed. Develop effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to promote a strong working team.

Key responsibilities

1. To complete amendments to and create documents as requested by clients using the provided templates
2. To take ownership for the quality of your work and the associated deadlines
3. To use various applications for job related duties accurately and effectively
4. To accurately estimate the production time and liaise with Workflow Coordinators to ensure deadline adherence
5. To share knowledge and encourage a supportive team culture
6. Taking a pro-active approach to attendance and time management
7. Ensuring adherence of objectives and contractual obligations (Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators)
8. To act in a professional and consultative manner to all clients
9. To ensure a clear and comprehensive handover for any incoming staff
10. Accurate and timely production of all Presentations materials
11. Ensure all work is quality checked before being returned to the client
12. Ensure complete submission of work to be randomly quality checked
13. Adherence of department policies and procedures

Personal attributes

14. The candidate must have advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007. A working knowledge of graphics production and applications is also desired
15. Experience of working in a corporate culture
16. Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure
17. Must be able to work on their own initiative
18. Self-motivated, ability to think on the spot
19. Continual improvement mentality, open and receptive to feedback
20. Strong service mentality, commitment to service excellence is essential
21. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
22. Should be a quick learner, able to pick up skills relevant to the service needs
23. Determination to achieve results and being prepared to put in extra effort when required
24. Accountability for own results
25. Exposure to a shift environment would be beneficial
