Job Title: Customer Support Officer
Location: Plympton
Salary: £23,809.50 for 37.5 hrs p/w, Mon-Fri in office
Working for one of the UK’s largest garage equipment companies, you will be the first point of contact and take ownership of all customer enquiries from telephone calls and / or emails for both new equipment sales and equipment service requirements.
You’ll assist in resolving enquiries and supporting customer’s needs, whilst always being aware of their service level agreements to ensure that designated time frames are honoured.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Ensure all calls are answered immediately and emails responded to within 1 hour of receipt
* Make courtesy follow up calls to ensure customer expectations are always being delivered, including regular customer updates regarding outstanding tasks
* Record customer complaints in line with the company’s procedures and where possible, resolving and closing them yourself by taking appropriate actions
* Other ad-hoc tasks necessary to support the business
Skills/Qualifications
* Customer service or call centre experience and / or any other sales leads roles
* A strongly customer-focused attitude, with a polite and professional manner
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent levels of communication with both customers and colleagues
* Works well in a team environment
* IT literacy
* 5 GCSE’s including English and Mathematics
