What matters to us
* Qualified to degree level or similar
* Experience in bid writing within civil engineering, construction, infrastructure or equivalent sectors involving complex technical bids and formal procurement processes
* Excellent written English, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail
* Excellent communication, and presentation skills
* Office 365 proficiency, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, Adobe
* Proven ability to absorb, analyse and structure complex information, identify and articulate win strategies

* We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Bid Writer to support the development of high-quality, compelling submissions for major engineering bids within our Infrastructure sector. This is a pivotal role within our work-winning team, responsible for translating complex technical information into clear, persuasive content that showcases our capability, innovation, and value proposition.
Requirements:
* Developing, writing and editing technical responses and evidence for complex projects
* Conducting answer planning and writing workshops as required, managing inputs from a wide range of sources and stakeholders
* Interviewing technical, operational, and business function experts to transform drafts into clear and persuasive customer-focussed responses
* Ensuring completion of all responses to internal / external deadlines
* Supporting win strategy workshops
* Supporting the enhancement of company work winning libraries and bid content
* Sharing knowledge and best practice across the business, contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement.
