What You’ll Be Doing
* Act as support to the Branch Manager to lead and support the team to deliver success.
* Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values.
* Develop great relationships with new and existing customers.
* Understand customer needs and provide proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible.
* Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth.
* Use our in‑house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
* Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts.
* Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and willing to learn. Prior experience of the building/trades sector is not required, but experience and skills gained from working and supervising in a customer‑focused environment such as hospitality, retail, leisure, supermarkets would be beneficial as we focus our teams on the customer journey and achieving improved sales through excellent service.
