We are currently recruiting to an Accounts Officer role in our Rent Accounting and Home Ownership Service.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:
* GCSE Maths and English
* Additional education to level 2
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a housing finance environment
* Flexibility, reliability and able to work in an agile environment
* Experienced in reconciliation and analysing data
* Excellent skills in Microsoft software, in particular Excel spreadsheets
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Be organised and meet strict deadlines
* Experience of electronic management systems for example in housing, finance and/or corporate management systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The council operates hybrid working. This involves working from an agreed workplace location in the borough for at least two days a week.
