Overview

Location: The Wycombe area with Aspire Alternative Provision. Salary Type: £135,000 to £145,000 per annum. Salary details: Salary according to experience. Contract type: Permanent. Hours: Full time. Closing date: 0900 on 29 September. Interviews to be held: 8 and 9 October 2025.


About Us

Aspire provides 'outstanding' alternative educational provision and support for secondary-aged students. Students attend full or part time and are referred to us by schools and the Local Authority. Our focus is to support young people, together with their families and schools, to reach beyond their potential and enable them to flourish by developing positive behaviours, attitudes and aspirations.

About You

We are looking for the new CEO to be an inspirational leader for the Trust, to support every member of staff in their mission to improve the life chances of disadvantaged young people, and to lead on the strategic growth and sustainability of Aspire. Responsibilities

* Provide inspirational leadership for the Trust and its staff.
* Support every member of staff in their mission to improve the life chances of disadvantaged young people.
* Lead on strategic growth and the sustainability of Aspire.
* Work with schools and the Local Authority to support students and families.


Qualifications / Requirements

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* An enhanced DBS check and references; completion of a pre-employment health check.
* This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and applicants must declare:
o All unspent convictions and conditional cautions
o All spent convictions and adult cautions that are not protected (i.e. not filtered out) as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2020).
